Biking
Holidays
Rider Level & Equipment
To tackle our trails, you need to be keen, fit and
up for a challenge. Stamina and the ability to cope with some technical
sections are good attributes. This being said, both Gary and Sarah,
your guides and hosts, hold SMBLA qualifications and provide ongoing
coaching as required. Where trails become very technical, alternative “escape
routes” are available, allowing these tough sections to be bypassed.
Safety is our number one priority at all times.
We run a fleet of quality mountain bikes for hire. All
are maintained to a high standard and are perfect for the terrain. It
is not a pre-requisite to hire from us. A good number of people bring
their own bikes after checking their suitability with us. Our bike store/workshop
is well equipped to carry out most repairs that may be required. We also
hold a number of key spares and plenty of tubes! Although we keep some
helmets, gloves and sunglasses here, we suggest that you bring your own
to ensure perfect fit.
A full checklist of items to bring is forwarded when your
booking is confirmed.
